"Search for the Perfect Pie" &
Pie Eating Contest

At Heritage Park

 

11:00 am Pie Eating Contest
The first contestant that finishes eating the whole pie before 5 minutes is up will win!

 

1st Place $25, 2nd Place $15, & 3rd Place $10 & BRAGGING RIGHTS!

 

Teams: 

 

Law Enforcement from Alba, Emory, East Tawakoni, Point, Lone Oak, and Rains County Sheriff DP will compete against each department. 


RHS Band ~vs~ RHS Drama

 

Road and Bridge ~vs~ American Legion #156

 

Pies for the contest are donated by Don's Restaurant

 

11:00 am - 1:00 pm Pie Baking Contest: 

 

9:00-10:00 am Pie delivery

1:00 pm Judging


There are 7 divisions:

 

Cobblers, Cream, Nut, Fruit, Sugar Free, Fried Pies, Children 12 & under, and Kids 13 to 18. 

 

Participants will bring 2 pies: one for judging and the other other to auction.

 

All Proceeds from this event will benefit two different charities: The Rains County Child Welfare Board and Champ Nate. Camp Nate is a camp for the families who have lost a child to cancer or another catastrophic illness.
